Job overview
The Floor Technician role is onsite in Tonawanda, NY, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Compensation is $17 per hour. GDI provides integrated facility maintenance services across the United States and Canada. The technician helps maintain clean, safe commercial facilities by caring for floors and completing routine cleaning tasks. The work supports facility upkeep through floor treatment, restroom and break-room cleaning, dusting, trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
What you'll do
- Strip, seal, wax, and polish floors as needed
- clean commercial buildings, restrooms, and break rooms
- dust and remove trash
- sweep, mop, and vacuum
- operate floor-cleaning equipment including buffers and scrubbers
- work with crew members and follow customer requests and supervisor instructions.
