What you'll do
- Conduct field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials
- learn to read and interpret construction specifications and plans
- pursue related concrete and soil testing certifications
- work with geotechnical engineering and drilling crews on subsurface investigations as opportunities arise
- record observations and data and communicate with clients and project teams.
