The Cook role is onsite in Denton, TX. Pay is $15–$17 per hour. The cook works in Lake Forest Village’s post-acute setting, preparing food for residents and patients who depend on quality care and service. The role maintains food production and quality control by preparing consistent menu items, following recipes and special diet needs, and meeting presentation and sanitation standards. Accurate food-temperature records, organized work areas, and support for culinary staff help ensure meals meet facility standards.

What you'll do

• Prepare consistent food items according to recipes and presentation standards
• use kitchen equipment safely
• label, date, and rotate products
• maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• assist, train, and guide prep cooks and culinary staff
• support inventory control, requisitions, and par levels
• review menus and special diet needs
• record food temperatures three times daily
• complete daily cleaning lists
• deliver final products in accordance with facility standards.
