Propulsion Electrical Test Engineer

The Propulsion Electrical Test Engineer role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA, with a base salary of $100,000–$150,000 per year, plus equity. The role supports K2 Space’s development and production of high-power satellite platforms and electric propulsion systems. This engineer owns avionics test success, developing production-quality test hardware and software and leading test campaigns to validate designs, meet flight-hardware milestones, and improve system reliability and scalability.

What you'll do

• Lead setup, execution, and analysis of electronic hardware tests
• troubleshoot electronics, test setups, and anomalies
• support vibration, thermal vacuum, and EMI/EMC testing
• design test hardware, harnesses, and systems
• develop reusable test automation software and drivers
• lead satellite subsystem test campaigns
• develop data acquisition, control, and instrumentation systems
• manage test assets and flight-avionics acceptance testing
• design device simulators
• collaborate on requirements, test methods, and schedules.
