The Security Officer – Access Control Patrol is an onsite, full-time position in Saint Joe, IN. Pay is $16 per hour, with a weekday schedule of 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Allied Universal provides security and facility services and describes its work as contributing to the communities and customers it serves. The officer helps safeguard an industrial manufacturing site by maintaining a visible presence, conducting unarmed patrols, supporting access control, and reporting concerns. The role also assists employees and visitors, responds to incidents as directed, and maintains accurate records and communications with site contacts and supervisors.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service and follow site-specific access-control and emergency-response procedures
• conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production-area perimeters, parking areas, access points, and assigned locations
• monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle records
• respond calmly to incidents and alarms and notify appropriate contacts or emergency responders as directed
• prepare reports and communicate observations and facility concerns.
