After-School Class Teacher, K–5

Job overview

The After-School Class Teacher, K–5 role is onsite in Allen, TX, with compensation of $14–$16 per hour. Discovery Montessori Academy serves children from infancy through age 12 through its Montessori school and after-school programs. This teacher plans and leads activities, supervises children, provides positive guidance, and assists with homework to support a safe, engaging after-school experience. The role also works with colleagues and follows school policies and required reporting procedures.

• Plan daily class activities
• supervise children indoors and outdoors and monitor their health and safety
• provide positive guidance
• assist with homework and worksheets as needed
• report suspected abuse as required by law
• follow academy policies
• complete assigned training.
