Clinical Trainer / Nurse Educator

The Clinical Trainer / Nurse Educator role is onsite in Worcester, MA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation is $80,000–$120,000 per year. The role supports clinical staff education and professional development at Family Health Center. The trainer develops and delivers education that promotes evidence-based care, staff competency, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement. By assessing learning needs and using staff feedback and quality data, the role helps strengthen clinical practice and patient outcomes.

What you'll do

• Assess learning needs of clinical staff and students
• develop and evaluate standardized training
• create educational materials and competency tools
• provide classroom, virtual, and hands-on instruction
• coordinate onboarding
• support competency validation
• mentor students and externs
• partner with Quality, Population Health, and Nursing leaders
• support clinical policies, guidelines, and regulatory readiness
• maintain training records and evaluate program effectiveness.

Why this role

An active, unrestricted Massachusetts RN license is strongly preferred; a minimum active, unrestricted LPN license is required. Five to seven years of clinical nursing experience is required; outpatient or ambulatory experience is strongly preferred.
