Water Maintenance Technician – Distribution

Job overview

The Water Maintenance Technician – Distribution role is onsite in Mission, TX, with compensation of $15 per hour. Sharyland Water Supply works to provide safe, affordable drinking water to rural communities in and around Mission, McAllen, and Edinburg. The technician performs field maintenance and repairs on the water distribution system, helping keep service reliable and restore water service when problems occur.

What you'll do

• Install and repair water mains, valves, fittings, service lines, and meters
• perform taps, tie-ins, flushing, backfill, and site restoration
• locate underground utilities and set traffic control
• operate assigned equipment
• document work and respond to emergencies during the on-call rotation.
