What you'll do

• Register patients and accession demographic and insurance information
• verify requested tests, insurance eligibility, and test frequency
• scan patient and insurance documents
• assist the revenue cycle management department
• contact medical offices as needed
• reconcile clinical payments and report petty cash
• answer calls
• coordinate home visits and appointments
• provide result-status service and send results when requested
• maintain laboratory files and statistics
• support FNA and cytology appointment coordination
• follow HIPAA requirements.
