Job overview

The Water Treatment Plant Operator role is onsite in Dulce, NM; compensation is $50,000–$65,000 per year, with the posting listing $50,000–$55,000 for Grade II and $60,000–$65,000 for Grade III. H2O Innovation provides water and wastewater plant operations and maintenance services to municipalities, government organizations, and businesses. The operator runs and monitors treatment systems, performs routine maintenance, tests water quality, and maintains operational records. What you'll do

• Operate, monitor, and maintain water supply and treatment systems
• perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs
• monitor water levels and interpret operational readings
• handle treatment chemicals safely
• collect water samples and conduct laboratory testing
• calculate chemical dosing and flow rates
• maintain operational, laboratory, and maintenance records
• assist with facility upkeep
• follow safety and operating procedures
• report equipment malfunctions and hazards.
