The Corrections Cook role is onsite in Klamath Falls, OR. Pay is $18.64–$23.58 per hour. The cook schedules and prepares meals that meet approved menu and dietary requirements while maintaining sanitation and kitchen security. The role also oversees food-cart delivery and prisoner-worker tasks, manages approved food and equipment supplies, and follows facility safety and security procedures.

What you'll do

• Schedule, prepare, distribute, and serve meals under sanitary conditions
• prepare trays according to approved dietary and menu requirements
• clean kitchen areas
• supervise food-cart delivery and prisoner workers
• maintain key and equipment controls
• manage inventory and procurement with Cook Supervisor approval
• prepare special medical and religious diets as approved
• complete shift reports
• and follow jail safety and security procedures.
