What you'll do

• Direct the Dietary Department
• oversee daily food and nutrition services operations, staffing, scheduling, training, and supervision
• assess nutritional needs and preferences
• participate in care planning and complete required MDS documentation
• process diet orders and monitor intake
• oversee food preparation, meal service, sanitation, temperatures, storage, and documentation
• manage ordering and inventory within approved budgets
• develop quality assurance initiatives and address resident concerns.

Why this role

Licensed Registered Dietitian or other clinically qualified nutrition professional, Certified Dietary Manager, similar national certification, or qualifying associate's or higher degree required. Sanitation certificate required or willingness to obtain one; long-term care food and nutrition regulations knowledge required.
