The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Elmira, OR, with an alternating weekly schedule: Week 1 is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Week 2 includes Tuesday until 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday until 3:00 p.m., with other weekdays 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Pay is $22.50–$24.50 per hour, depending on experience and skills, with an additional $1.00 per hour increase at 120 days. Orchid Health’s Fern Ridge Clinic serves the surrounding community and advances community health through patient-centered care.

What you'll do

• Greet and room patients
• document and update patient histories, vitals, medications, and screening information
• perform blood draws, lab processing, point-of-care tests, EKGs, and spirometry
• assist with prescription refills under provider supervision and follow triage protocols
• administer immunizations and manage vaccine documentation
• audit charts and preventive health lists
• maintain supplies and exam rooms
• communicate with patients, providers, pharmacies, and other entities
• and document patient interactions.
