Activity Aide

Job overview

The Activity Aide role is onsite in Matawan, NJ. Pay is $16 per hour. The position supports residents and works closely with the Director of Activities, nursing team, and other staff at Complete Care at Madison. The role exists to promote residents’ socialization, independence, engagement, and quality of life by helping plan and lead group and individual activities while respecting residents’ interests and abilities.

What you'll do

• Assist with planning and leading recreational and therapeutic activities, games, entertainment, crafts, and special events
• provide one-on-one engagement
• encourage participation
• monitor participation and report concerns
• maintain attendance and participation records
• decorate for holidays and events
• collaborate with activities, nursing, and other staff.
