Corps Program Assistant

What you'll do

• Connect community members with Corps programs and visit families associated with youth programs
• coordinate parent activities, Vacation Bible School or summer day camp, volunteers and transportation
• support regular discipleship programs for teens, children and young adults
• recruit and train leaders and oversee child-safety records and volunteer training
• organize youth activities and submit reports
• coordinate music groups, rehearsals and events
• organize seasonal programs and distributions as directed.

Why this role

Requires a uniformed Salvationist in good standing who wears full uniform on Sundays, agreement with Salvation Army beliefs and practices, age 21 or older, and a valid Arizona driver’s license; must be able to drive a 15-passenger bus by the end of probation.
