Material Handler, First Shift

The Material Handler, First Shift role is onsite at the production facility in Milton, WI, with pay of $16–$19 per hour. Freedom is a privately held direct mail service provider, and this position supports its Milton production facility. The Material Handler moves raw materials and finished products through the facility to support production and inventory flow. The role includes loading and unloading trucks, staging and tracking materials, and transporting items between local plants.

What you'll do

• Move raw stock and finished products
• load and unload trucks
• stage materials and manage warehouse racking
• operate forklifts, clamp trucks, power walkers, and scissors lifts and conduct equipment safety audits at shift start
• use RF scanners
• complete shift paperwork
• drive a straight truck between local plants
• maintain a clean and safe work environment
• receive materials into computerized inventory.
