The Unit Assistant role is onsite in Hudson, NY, and Livingston Hills Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility providing care in a supportive environment. The assistant helps residents move safely to meals, activities, and appointments and supports meal service and daily comfort. The role contributes to residents’ well-being through practical assistance, supervision in community areas, and positive interaction.

What you'll do

• Report to the morning nursing supervisor or manager for floor assignment
• transport residents to and from dining areas, programs, events, and off-site appointments
• assist with seating, handwashing, beverages, and meal trays
• supervise residents in community areas and outdoor patio spaces
• tidy rooms and linen closets and make beds
• and provide compassionate support.
