Billing & Insurance Authorization Specialist

The Billing & Insurance Authorization Specialist role is onsite in Sturtevant, WI, with pay of $17–$25 per hour. The specialist supports the practice's revenue and claims cycle by verifying coverage, managing authorizations, communicating insurance information to families and staff, and tracking authorization use. The posting describes flexible Monday–Friday hours between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.; the position may be temporary, full-time, and/or part-time.

What you'll do

• Run eligibility checks and insurance verifications
• communicate coverage and patient financial information to families
• submit and track authorization requests
• maintain authorization records in the EMR
• prepare and distribute authorization, cancellation, and other reports
• coordinate insurance and scheduling updates with therapists and departments.
