Quality Control Chemist I

Job overview

The Quality Control Chemist I role is onsite in Bloomingdale, IL, with compensation of $26–$33 per hour. The chemist tests materials for strength, identification, and contaminants in support of quality control.

What you'll do

• Test assigned materials using laboratory instruments including pH meters, FTIR, HPLC, GC, HPTLC, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, autotitrators, and balances.
• Set up and troubleshoot instruments, interpret and report data, revise SOPs as needed, guide technicians, document results, initiate out-of-spec investigations, and support lab housekeeping and safety requirements.
