Substation Physical CADD Designer

The Substation Physical CADD Designer role is hybrid or onsite in Denver, Colorado, or Muscatine, Iowa. The Colorado hourly range is $39.66–$50.37. The designer supports Stanley Consultants’ engineering projects across energy and infrastructure sectors. The role develops substation physical design drawings from project criteria, calculations, scope, and specifications. Its work supports coordinated design packages from concept through construction and as-built documentation, with limited engineer review expected for completed drawings.

What you'll do

• Create 2D or 3D CAD drawings
• gather manufacturer and vendor drawing information
• develop general arrangements, plans, elevations, foundation, grounding, conduit and trench plans, details, bills of material, and conduit schedules
• coordinate with civil, steel structure, and foundation design
• complete drawings through as-built
• provide drafting support and guidance to technicians and designers
• assist with training.
