What you'll do

• Review drawings and specifications and perform tonnage, joist, and deck takeoffs
• write scopes and resolve RFIs
• recommend design and sequencing improvements
• evaluate erection logistics and coordinate trades
• build labor and material pricing breakdowns and bid packages
• lead bid leveling, negotiation, and award
• prequalify fabricators, suppliers, and erectors
• manage cost basis, price risk, changes, and cost-to-complete
• coordinate RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, fabrication, delivery, and erection
• review payment applications
• maintain scope libraries and pricing templates
• cross-train in other structural and envelope scopes.

Why this role

Requires 8+ years in steel project management, estimating, fabrication, erection, or general contracting, including at least three years of hands-on field experience. Construction Management or Engineering degree is preferred; equivalent field experience is considered.
