The Domestic Violence Intervention Counselor/Advocate role is onsite in Honolulu, HI, with a flexible work environment. Pay is $22.05 per hour. Parents And Children Together works with Hawaii’s children, individuals, and families to create safe and promising futures; this position supports its Family Peace Centers. The Counselor/Advocate provides advocacy, crisis counseling, case management, and support services to people affected by domestic violence, sex trafficking, and child sexual abuse. Through assessments, counseling, intervention groups, and coordination with service partners, the role contributes to client safety and the program’s family support work.

What you'll do

• Conduct intake and assessments
• facilitate domestic violence intervention groups as designated
• provide individual counseling, case management, outreach, visitation, crisis intervention, home visits, and advocacy as designated
• attend to survivor and child safety
• maintain client records, data, payment processing, and court reporting
• collaborate with staff, clients, community members, and service partners.
