Caregiver / Direct Support Provider

The Caregiver / Direct Support Provider role is onsite in the Litchfield Park area of Arizona, with the listing location in Avondale, AZ. Pay is $17.50–$21.00 per hour. Wee Care provides home and community-based services using evidence-based treatment models to support independence for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The provider delivers person-centered respite, attendant care, and/or habilitation services according to each individual’s service plan and goals. The role promotes safety, self-advocacy, and independence while maintaining clear communication and accurate records for continuity across the support team.

What you'll do

• Provide hands-on support according to service plans, routines, and measurable goals
• encourage self-esteem and advocacy through coaching and positive reinforcement
• communicate respectfully with individuals and stakeholders
• maintain accurate documentation and records
• review service plans and recent notes at shift start
• follow established schedules while supporting skill practice and informed choices
• monitor safety and comfort
• assist with transportation planning when needed
• and complete timely shift summaries.

Why this role
