Construction Inspector – Resident Project Representative (Water)

The Construction Inspector – Resident Project Representative (Water) role is onsite in Greenwood, IN, with pay of $36–$45.67 per hour. The inspector supports water and wastewater infrastructure projects for Gonzalez Companies’ clients. The inspector monitors construction work for compliance with plans, specifications, safety requirements, and regulations. Through field inspections, documentation, and coordination with contractors and project stakeholders, the role helps project owners achieve compliant and successful project completion.

What you'll do

• Inspect water and wastewater facilities and infrastructure
• verify work against plans, specifications, codes, and regulations
• document observations in reports, photographs, and daily logs
• monitor contractor quality and safety
• identify and report deficiencies and risks
• review submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documents when appropriate
• participate in project meetings
• assist with testing, commissioning, and start-up inspections
• maintain inspection and corrective-action records.
