Standby Operator – Dairy Processing

What you'll do

• Operate filling and packaging equipment in production lines and equipment in dairy-processing areas
• comply with New York State regulations, plant GMP and sanitation policies, OSHA requirements, and plant safety policies
• perform general plant cleaning and grounds maintenance
• complete environmental and production paperwork
• support SQF requirements
• maintain relationships with plant supervisors, managers, and external agencies
• support changeovers and start-ups
• attend required training and production meetings when required. Shifts may vary during the week, and days off may not be consecutive
• the schedule is assigned weekly.
