Accounting Technician

The Accounting Technician role is onsite in Bremerton, WA. Pay is $29–$31 per hour. The technician supports budget and financial operations by preparing vouchers, maintaining accounting records, and assisting with audits and financial statements. Accurate expenditure documentation, timekeeping, and accounts-payable processing help support the company’s government-contract activity.

What you'll do

• Prepare bi-weekly government vouchers documenting company expenditures
• use accounts-payable and purchasing systems
• prepare and maintain public vouchers for payroll, purchasing, and travel
• support voucher submission in the Wide Area Workflow payment system
• track expenditures using job-cost accounting principles
• process purchase orders, invoices, receiving documents, and accounts-payable vouchers
• maintain employee timecards and timekeeping entries
• support payroll preparation and verify related records.
