What you'll do

• Gross and prepare tissue for routine microscopic analysis
• perform embedding and microtomy
• stain slides and cover slip
• follow quality, safety, and compliance programs
• troubleshoot processor, staining, microtome, and coverslipper issues
• manage supply inventory
• maintain equipment and document maintenance
• follow HIPAA, CLIA, and OSHA requirements and laboratory waste procedures.
