Male Caregiver, Saturday 2 PM–10 PM

The Male Caregiver role is onsite in Torrance, CA, with stated pay of $20–$24 per hour. Allcare Homecare is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide 2:1 support for an adult client with autism. The caregiver supports the client's daily living, community participation, and social activities while following individualized support and behavioral strategies. The role works closely with another staff member, supervisors, family members, and the support team.

What you'll do

• Provide direct 2:1 support
• assist with community integration and social activities
• follow individualized support plans and behavioral strategies
• assist with daily living activities as needed
• maintain documentation and progress notes
• collaborate with supervisors, family, and support teams
• manage outbursts caused by seizure.
