Auto Body Collision Estimator

The Auto Body Collision Estimator role is onsite in North Kingstown, RI, with stated pay of $80,000–$95,000 per year. Quonset Auto Body, powered by VIVE Collision, provides collision repair services with technician, parts, front-office, and estimating support. The estimator manages the repair process from damage assessment and repair planning through final delivery. The role coordinates customers, technicians, production staff, and insurance partners to support accurate estimates, clear communication, and quality repairs.

What you'll do

• Greet customers and inspect vehicles for collision damage
• prepare estimates and repair blueprints
• develop repair plans after teardown
• explain repair processes and timelines
• open and maintain repair orders and required documentation
• verify authorizations
• coordinate with technicians and production staff
• follow OEM repair procedures
• communicate status updates
• process supplements when additional damage is found
• manage total-loss documentation when applicable
• prepare final paperwork
• conduct final quality inspections and road tests when required
• review completed repairs with customers.
