The Academic Tutor is an onsite position located in Rockville, MD. Compensation is $40-$44 per hour, and this role supports the interdisciplinary team at The Treatment and Learning Centers, Inc. (TLC). This role exists to provide individualized academic instruction to students, including those with neurodiverse profiles and learning disabilities. It contributes to the organization's mission by helping students strengthen academic skills, build confidence, and achieve success in school and beyond.

What you'll do

• Provide individualized instruction in reading, writing, and study skills
• teach executive functioning
• prepare students for standardized tests
• develop personalized learning plans
• monitor and document student progress
• communicate with parents and supervisors.
