Toyota Service Technician

Job overview

Compensation is $18–$35 per hour. The Toyota Service Technician role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA, with compensation based on experience; numeric Carlock Toyota of Tupelo is part of Carlock Automotive Group, a multi-state dealership network. The technician diagnoses and repairs vehicles, coordinates repair work with service advisors and the shop foreman, documents completed work, and maintains current technical knowledge and compliance with applicable regulations.

What you'll do

• Examine and diagnose vehicles
• discuss repairs and additional service requests with the shop foreman or service advisor
• plan work and provide labor estimates
• monitor repair time
• follow dealership vehicle-care policies
• document client repairs
• assist with trainee mentoring
• attend company and factory training
• keep current with technical bulletins
• follow applicable regulations, including hazardous-waste disposal requirements.
