Cleaning Associate — Part-Time

The Cleaning Associate — Part-Time role is onsite in Beacon, NY. Compensation is $16.50 per hour. The Fresh Air Fund is a youth development organization providing outdoor experiences and year-round programs for New York City children from underserved communities; this role supports the Sharpe Reservation and its rental groups. Working under the Head Custodian, the associate helps keep camp and rental spaces clean, sanitary, and ready for guests. The work includes cleaning surfaces and floors, maintaining equipment and supplies, restocking bathrooms, and reporting needed repairs or replacements.

What you'll do

• Transport cleaning supplies and paper products
• dust and clean vents, surfaces, and counters
• sweep, scrub, and mop floors
• use vacuum equipment, sanitary blowers, and floor-cleaning machines
• dispose of trash
• clean bathrooms, windows, glass, and mirrors
• maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
• store products safely
• restock bathroom supplies and prepare rental spaces between groups
• report repairs and replacements needed.
