The Daycare Cook / Bus Driver position is onsite in Huntersville, NC. Pay is $16.00–$18.00, with a Monday–Friday schedule. The role supports The Sunshine House’s early education and childcare programs for children from six weeks to 12 years old. The employee prepares meals and snacks and safely transports children to and from area elementary schools and field trips, supporting children’s daily care and learning environment.

What you'll do

• Prepare and distribute meals and snacks according to menus and guidelines
• follow USDA, licensing, and health department requirements
• maintain safe food preparation, sanitation, and kitchen inventory
• work in classrooms to cover breaks as needed
• transport children to and from schools and field trips in a small bus
• and complete safety checks and drills.

Why this role
