Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor role is onsite in Fredericksburg, VA. Compensation is $33–$35 per hour. The role supports Vest Residential’s community buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas. The supervisor oversees and performs maintenance work to keep the community safe, functional, and aligned with company standards. The role coordinates work orders and apartment make-ready tasks, inspects work, maintains supplies, and supports preventive maintenance, safety, and expense-control efforts. The position includes taking call during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What you'll do

• Complete and oversee resident work orders and routine repairs
• coordinate apartment make-ready inspections, work lists, vendors, supplies, repairs, and final inspections
• develop cleanliness and appearance standards for community areas
• inspect work by service team members and contractors
• maintain spare-parts inventory
• complete monthly preventive maintenance
• support cost control
• conduct safety meetings and maintain current MSDS sheets
• respond to resident and team questions and complaints
• assist the Community Manager with repair and capital expense budgets.

Evening, weekend, and holiday call is part of the flexible schedule; EPA Type I and II or Universal certification required; CPO and OSHA 10 and/or 30 may be obtained within 90 days if not already held.
