The Engineering and Standards Management Support Engineer role is primarily onsite in Washington, DC, with situational telework of up to 10% potentially allowed. The listed salary range is $90,000–$110,000 per year. The role supports the Submarine Direct Reporting Program Manager Chief Engineering organization and KMS’s Navy customers. The engineer organizes and maintains engineering specifications, standards, and technical artifacts to improve governance, traceability, and decision support across undersea programs. The role provides analysis and documentation for government-led decisions; the contractor does not issue or approve technical requirements, waivers, or authoritative interpretations.

What you'll do

• Organize, track, and manage engineering specifications and standards
• maintain source documents and revision information
• coordinate document reviews
• prepare crosswalks, status reports, issue summaries, and recommendations
• maintain traceability
• support workflows, governance materials, document-control tools, procedures, gap assessments, roadmaps, and briefings.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field, or qualifying submarine service experience, and eight years of relevant support experience. Ability to obtain or maintain a Secret DoD clearance is required. Travel up to 10% may be required.
