Engineering Technician, Autonomous Vehicle Test Infrastructure

The Engineering Technician role is onsite in Sunnyvale, CA. Pay is $35–$49 per hour. The technician supports the SW HIL team, which builds and maintains test assets used to validate autonomous vehicle design. The role keeps simulation machines and test infrastructure operating predictably for the autonomous software development program. Through hardware troubleshooting, assembly, configuration, and documentation, the technician enables engineering teams to execute software testing and resolve complex issues.

What you'll do

• Track test-platform configurations
• diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair test hardware
• collaborate with engineering teams on complex issues
• build and repair harnesses from electrical diagrams
• assemble, install, and configure computers
• install vehicle system components into server racks
• build out networking infrastructure
• document task and project progress
• maintain lab tools and equipment.
