Building Engineer I — Hotel Engineering

What you'll do

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and other building systems
• respond to guest requests, maintenance concerns, and work orders
• inspect guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, and back-of-house areas
• diagnose equipment issues and repair or escalate them
• assist with life-safety system inspections and testing
• perform general maintenance and finish work
• document work orders and maintenance activities
• maintain safe, organized work areas
• communicate hazards and equipment deficiencies
• collaborate with hotel departments and assist with special projects and scheduled maintenance.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of relevant maintenance, facilities, or building engineering experience. Hotel or resort experience and technical certifications are preferred.
