The Childcare Supervisor — Fitness Center role is onsite in Leawood, KS, at The J’s Clubhouse; pay is $20.00–$22.00 per hour. The supervisor supports childcare for children ages 3 months to 11 years while parents or guardians use the fitness center. The J’s mission is to build an inclusive community that enhances wellness, meaning, and joy. The role trains and supervises Clubhouse staff and provides hands-on support during childcare hours. It helps maintain a safe, engaging environment for children and families while coordinating staff, supplies, equipment, and special events with the Clubhouse Manager.

What you'll do

• Train and coach staff and communicate performance concerns to the Clubhouse Manager
• provide hands-on support during direct service hours
• oversee birthday parties and monthly Saturday Night Out events, including marketing, registration, revenue goals, and family communication
• check and order supplies
• inspect play equipment and structures and communicate repair needs.

Why this role

The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, and Monday through Wednesday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM. Experience with children from infancy through grade school is required. CPR, AED, and First Aid certification is required or must be completed upon hire; staff supervision experience is preferred.
