What you'll do

• Performs all routine radiographic procedures according to department standards, protocols and guidelines.
• Exhibits proficiency in conducting routine radiographic procedures and fluoroscopic exams.
• Provides proper clinical patient care while performing diagnostic procedures.
• Provides careful critique and assessment over the image quality.
• Exhibits accuracy in computer documentation.
• Mentors students in the clinical and ethical aspects of the Radiologic Technologist profession.
• Maintains stock levels and personal protection equipment of assigned stations.
• Exhibits constant awareness of infection control standards.
• Works cooperatively to accomplish a task as a member of the team.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as may be required.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma

Experience

High School diploma or GED equivalent. Must pass the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) National Board, and have a State of Connecticut License to practice Radiographic technical procedures or receive within 3 months of graduation. Must have certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire. Must be fully knowledgeable and capable of performing independently in at least two modalities.
