What you'll do

• Coordinate patient care with healthcare professionals
• support optimal clinical, quality, and cost outcomes
• follow facility standards and policies
• perform physical exams and health histories
• provide health promotion, counseling, and education
• administer medications, wound care, and other interventions
• supervise care provided by other healthcare professionals
• assign patient care according to staff scope and skill
• respond to emergencies
• coordinate referrals and specialty appointments
• document care and conduct research supporting improved practice and outcomes.
