The role provides custodial coverage when school employees are absent or staffing needs arise, helping maintain clean school buildings and supporting daily facility operations. When call-off coverage is not needed, the employee may be assigned project or supplemental custodial work at a specific DPS location.

What you'll do

• Clean school buildings, including restrooms and break rooms
• refill dispensers with paper products, soap, and sanitizer
• dust, remove trash, sweep, mop, and vacuum
• complete assigned work within the budgeted eight hours
• report to the assigned school location and remain there for the shift.
