What you'll do

• Submit claims within three days of closed encounter notes and check that notes match reimbursement codes. Track open claims, follow up with supervisors, and report chart errors to the BMS Coordinator. Correct and resubmit denied claims
• contact insurers and clients as needed. Maintain insurance and patient accounts receivable, process patient refunds within three days, coordinate with the admin/intake team on balances, meet with MCO representatives about credentialing and denials, and oversee reporting and data submission for The Data Project.
