What you'll do

• Review completed projects for topic coverage, clarity, logical organization, and compliance with policy and agency practices
• apply technical terminology and publishing standards
• convert photo and graphic file formats and insert links, photographs, graphics, and video
• check consistency within documents and between text and graphics
• verify factual information using sources
• restructure sentences for clarity without changing meaning
• contact authors to resolve factual inconsistencies
• provide technical assistance on varied publications
• ensure documents are error-free before submission.

Why this role

Requires ten years of editorial technician or technical writing experience, or specified combinations of relevant degrees and experience; five years of leadership experience; advanced Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat proficiency; and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
