Therapist — Intensive Outpatient Programs

The Therapist role is onsite in Monterey, CA, with pay of $40–$57 per hour. Balance Treatment Center provides intensive, evidence-based mental health care for individuals and families. The therapist provides psychotherapy and related clinical care to clients in Intensive Outpatient Programs, supporting client well-being and the integrity of the treatment program through assessment, treatment planning, crisis response, and discharge planning.

What you'll do

• Provide family, group, and individual psychotherapy
• assess clients at admission and as needed
• provide diagnoses and treatment recommendations
• provide crisis intervention
• consult with staff, caregivers, and other professionals
• maintain timely documentation
• support discharge planning and treatment planning
• conduct utilization reviews as required
• attend training and meetings
• follow legal and professional practice standards.
