What you'll do

• Assist the oral surgeon and orthodontist during procedures
• prepare patients for surgery and provide pre- and post-operative instructions
• assist with extractions, implants, bone grafts, and IV sedation cases
• place and remove orthodontic auxiliaries as allowed by state regulations
• prepare and sterilize instruments
• take digital dental X-rays using Dexis software
• provide chairside assistance
• update medical histories and treatment plans
• educate patients on aftercare and oral hygiene.
