Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative role is onsite in Elgin, IL, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Compensation is $55,000–$65,000 per year, with monthly bonus potential. The role supports a metals processor and distributor’s customer accounts and sales activities. The representative manages customer inquiries and the quote-to-order process, coordinating with Sales, Operations, and Quality to support accurate quotations, timely order entry, and customer service. The role also helps resolve billing issues and customer concerns and maintains accurate account and order records.

What you'll do

• Respond to customer inquiries and requests for quotations
• prepare quotations
• clarify specifications, pricing, and delivery requirements
• review purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
• enter and acknowledge orders in the ERP system
• support procurement portals
• coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Quality
• investigate billing issues and customer claims
• maintain customer and order records
• support process improvements.
