Dietary Aide

The aide helps prepare and serve meals to residents while maintaining sanitation and following dietary instructions and long-term-care requirements. The role supports residents’ daily meal service through food preparation assistance, tray and dining-room setup, dishwashing, and safe handling of supplies and equipment.

What you'll do

• Perform assigned dietary work routines
• assist the cook with meal preparation and service
• meet meal and snack schedules
• follow dietary policies and long-term-care regulations
• clean according to schedules
• arrange tray cards, load food carts, and serve meals
• set up the dining room
• wash and store dishes
• receive and store food supplies
• follow infection-control and emergency procedures
• report equipment, supply, and safety concerns.
