Automotive Assistant Manager — Tire and Auto Service

Job overview

The Automotive Assistant Manager role is onsite in Clarksville, IN, with compensation of $40,000–$60,000 per year. The role supports daily operations at a Big O Tires retail store and assists the Store Manager. The assistant manager helps direct store operations to meet company goals, maintain efficient operations, and maximize profit. The work includes supporting inventory control, customer issue resolution, work-order processes, store upkeep, and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

• Open and close the store
• assist the Store Manager with assigned duties
• monitor inventory to prevent shrinkage and order and receive supplies as needed
• handle customer complaints within established guidelines
• operate point-of-sale hardware and software
• prepare and inspect work orders and vehicle inspection forms for completeness
• maintain the location’s appearance
• ensure compliance with OSHA and federal and state environmental regulations.
