The Senior Litigation Paralegal – Personal Injury & Medical Malpractice role is hybrid, based in Winchester, VA or Harrisonburg, VA, with scheduled in-person office days and court-related attendance. Compensation is $60,000–$75,000 per year. The role supports a Virginia personal injury and medical malpractice litigation practice and works closely with trial counsel. The role exists to keep complex civil litigation matters trial-ready and moving forward by managing deadlines, preparing filings and evidence, coordinating clients and case participants, and supporting courtroom proceedings. Its work helps attorneys handle cases from complaint through trial and post-trial logistics.

What you'll do

• Maintain litigation calendars and participate in monthly statute-of-limitations and governmental-notice audits
• provide trial, deposition, mediation, and hearing preparation and courtroom support
• draft pleadings, discovery, motions, schedules, praecipes, and court orders under attorney supervision
• analyze medical records, manage medical chronologies and liens, and prepare settlement disbursement sheets
• communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and experts.
