The work helps contracting and agreements officers plan, award, administer, and manage FAR and non-FAR actions while maintaining compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, and policies.

What you'll do

• Support acquisition and agreement planning and business strategies
• review procurement and OT request packages
• research acquisition requirements and provide recommendations
• prepare acquisition and OT documentation and solicitations
• support notices on SAM.gov
• conduct cost and price analyses
• support proposal evaluations, negotiations, awards, and post-award administration
• maintain auditable contract and agreement files
• coordinate with government officers, program managers, legal counsel, and other stakeholders.

Why this role

Requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance. Requires a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and directly related DoD experience, at least 10 years supporting federal or DoD acquisition, and at least five years supporting DoD acquisition organizations. Hands-on non-FAR acquisition experience is required; one of the listed contracting certifications or ability to obtain one may qualify if contractually permitted.
